Team Composition Basics
Essential roles for a balanced defense team

Farm Units (1-2)

Essential for economy. Deploy Fastcart early to generate money for expensive units. The Fortunate trait is essential for maximum income.

DPS Units (2-3)

Your main damage dealers. Focus on 1-2 strong DPS units rather than spreading resources thin. Hybrid units are versatile, ground units excel at ground damage.

Support Units (1-2)

Buff allies, debuff enemies, or provide utility. Miku (Super Star) is essential for damage and range buffs. Lulu (Lelouch) provides amazing crowd control.

Air/Hill Coverage (1)

Essential for stages with flying enemies. Spade (Donut) or Cyborg (Fearless) are top choices for air damage.

Unit Placement Strategy
Optimal positioning for maximum effectiveness

Early Game Placement

  • Deploy Farm units first in safe positions to build economy
  • Place your main DPS unit in a central position with good range coverage
  • Position support units behind DPS units to maximize buff effectiveness

Mid to Late Game

  • Spread units to cover all enemy paths
  • Place air units on elevated positions (hills) for maximum coverage
  • Position crowd control units at chokepoints
  • Keep support units safe behind the front line

Boss Fight Strategy

  • Focus all DPS on the boss when it appears
  • Use stun/slow units to delay boss movement
  • Position units to maximize damage uptime
  • Save active abilities for boss phases
